Although we work with quite a lot of start ups, small businesses and charities, we also work with lots of people who work for themselves and need a cool, dynamic set of photos that they can use to market and promote themselves across different social media channels such as LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter. I’ve recently taken up Muay Thai, at a local mixed martial arts gym, and met the lovely Fiona, who runs her own business as a personal trainer. We got chatting and she decided to book us for a shoot as she wants to up her profile across social media. Now this shoot was a lot of fun. I was lucky enough to spend a week in New York City in September for work. Besides running Hey Tuesday, the best place to come to get business headshots that stand out from the crowd, I also set up Hey Saturday, the UK’s first and coolest dating photography business and as a the leader in the dating photography field in the UK and the US, I get to go to some exciting places. I was invited to be a judge at the US Dating Awards and while I was over there, a lot of the people attending the event wanted to book a social media headshot shoot with me. It was such a great way to meet lots of cool people as, of course, taking someone’s photos is pretty bonding if you do it well. I headed to the Ace Hotel (one of my favourite places) and found this great little spot to get some great headshots. The clients were really over the moon with their final shots. If you like this cool kind of vibe for your business headshots, then hit us up for a shoot. We like to break the mould. Continue Reading
